Ciechanowski Law Group, PC successfully represented PolymerFEM, LLC, a Massachusetts company specializing in material modeling software, in an asset sale to Ansys, Inc.  PolymerFEM was founded by Dr. Jorgen Bergstrom, a leading expert in the material industry, and developed two prominent material modeling tools:  MCalibration and PolyUmod.  CLG assisted PolymerFEM in negotiating the letter of intent, preparing due diligence, and negotiating and finalizing an asset purchase agreement.  Ansys was pleased to add Dr. Bergstrom to its team and PolymerFEM’s material modeling tools to its portfolio so it can better achieve its goal of furthering the ease of use and material modeling accuracy for engineers worldwide.
